Every Atom is Colour

The Art Committee invites you to rediscover the works of one of Norway’s most prominent painters, Harriet Backer. In this exhibition entitled Every Atom is Colour, we will be introduced to a large collection of her paintings which illustrate the life and times of this eminent artist (1845-1932). Many of her paintings are of interiors, but we will also see a number of her portraits, including her only self-portrait, and we can againadmire her use of clear and intense colours.
