THE BOARD’S PAGE
Dear Members,
By the time you receive this letter, the New Year of 2025 has arrived!
May it be a healthy and joyful one for you all, dear members. And may it be a peaceful one for the world. We hope that we will all be able to carry the spirit of the holidays into the New Year.
Like in the preceding months, we would like to give you a brief update on where our work stands. On Monday November 25, 2024, we held another Board meeting. The Board approved Ludo Van Vooren (FO) as a deputy to the Board. Ludo, we are thrilled to have you on board!
Our amazing treasurer, Anne-Lise Fasteland, stepped down at the end of November. The Board has discussed several options for the way forward and decided to go for Styreweb’s accounting system (Styreweb is the Forum’s membership system). We are indeed grateful to Vera Minja, who has agreed to help us bridge the gap between Anne-Lise’s departure and the moment that Styreweb will take over accounting matters. Ludo will be our liaison between the board and Styreweb.
Please note that the Nomination Committee will soon start its work. The Committee is looking for members who would like to fill Board positions. Please see page 6 for details. If you are interested in being more involved or would like to suggest somebody else, please use the form in this newsletter. There is so much talent within International Forum, and we would love to hear from you!
