DESCRIPTION:Mr Jon Westborg holds a Master of Philosophy from the reputed Cranfield School of Management in the UK. Before entering the world of diplomacy\, he worked for the Lutheran World Federation\, Save the Children Norway\, the Strømme Foundation and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD). From 1996 to 2003\, he served as the Norwegian Ambassador to Sri Lanka\, and from 2003 as the Norwegian Ambassador to India. \nHis speech is entitled ‘Some thoughts about life in Sri Lanka.’
