DESCRIPTION:NATIONAL MUSEUM \nThursday\, May 8 \nA K Dolven \nA Retrospective Exhibition \nA K Dolven lives and works in Oslo and Lofoten and has been working internationally as an artist for over four decades. Now she invites us to undertake the sensory experience of exploring her work within and around the National Museum. \nIn video installations and film projections\, paintings and sculpture – as well as photography\, sound and text – Dolven addresses the universal through the intimate. By exploring the sphere between the familiar and the unfamiliar\, her work invites new perspectives on the world around us. \nUsing a broad range of materials\, formats and means of expression\, Dolven’s work contains certain recurring themes: the natural environment\, the human body\, and their relationship with time and culture. Across the range of her work\, Dolven explores natural phenomena such as light and darkness\, landscapes and weather. \nDATE/TIME:       Thursday\, May 8 at 12:45 (for 13:00) \nSIGN UP:             Katarina Plavnik by email as soon as possible and no later than May 1. \nPLACE:               The National Museum\, Brynjulf Bulls Plass 3\, 0250\, Oslo \nPRICE:                The entrance fee is NOK 200\,- for adults and NOK 110\,- for seniors\, payable at the Museum.
